Brown Bag Lunch (2005) Sonic Deli Records; 18 tracks, 11 award winning artists and guest musicians (JUNO, SOCAN, CMT, NSAI) co-written, arranged, engineered and produced by Jim Armstrong.
Various independent CD projects, demo work, consultations, corporate jingles/theme songs, collaborations with both emerging and established artists and bands including:
- Ravenstone Productions Ltd. (Acura, Meridican, Party Light, Pampered Chef).
- Artist-producer, Jim Armstrong & The Sonic Deli Band performed bi-weekly as the host of Sonic Deli Recordsī "Indie Wednesdays" at Stones Place (May - Oct 2006).
- FAREWELL SARAJEVO (1995) Jim and Andrea co-wrote with Rick Hughes and singer Genrys Pritchard, a benefit song for Bosnian Relief. Airplay on CBC radio. They worked to pull together award-winning film, music, media and public relations communities all donating the skills and resources for a video and CD package. Project halted when peace treaty signed and was therefore no longer timely. Jim and Andrea were interviewed and the subject of a national CBC news radio weekend broadcast.
- Jim has co-written with SERGIO GALLI (lead guitarist /songwriter) of multi-platinum selling 80's band PLATINUM BLONDE.
- Recorded KENNY MACLEAN ( PLATINUM BLONDE, DESERTERS ) at C'est What, Toronto for live CD and concert video.
- Recorded ANTHONY TERPSTRA'S 20-piece STARLIGHT ORCHESTRA live at the Palais Royale with subsequent broadcasts on jazz radio.
- Original material written, recorded and produced for Toronto boy band 4th Dimension - performed live at Z103's Freestyle 2001 at the international Centre, Toronto.
- Original radio spot and music for THE GATEHOUSE, fall 2003.
